Covenant School of Ministry and Divinity was birthed by God. Its stated purpose is to train
and equip men and women for Kingdom service and Church leadership. True education is based
on the search for truth; only a Christian schools like CSOMD can provide a complete curriculum if
one believes the Bible is Truth. This is a Christian school that educates each student concerning
salvation, self discipline, personal integrity, and good citizenship. The school demands the highest
standard of morality and Christian behavior.
CSOMD is a degree-granting school. A degree is never worth more than the person who
possesses it. Many students have graduated from schools where thousands of pesos were spent
to obtain the education, yet after the student graduated they possessed little knowledge of God’s word and had not matured in their
ministry skills. While they had an accredited degree to hang on the wall they went on to do very little in ministry. They did not possess
the skills that churches and schools look for and that is ability. Ability comes from credible teaching and anointed biblical training.
Why a School of Ministry? There is a recognizable difference in the philosophies of different types of schools. Public, private and
parochial schools all have appropriate rationales for their existence. Truly, Schools of Ministry or Christian schools have uniqueness for
their development due to their Scriptural mandate and their biblical convictions and foundation.
About Accreditation
The purpose for accreditation is to assure a high quality of education. It should be noted that accreditation is a voluntary, non
governmental process of review and evaluation. In fact, thankfully and partly because of our country’s heritage and Constitution, the
freedom of choice and separation of the state and religion is truly observed. No two schools or universities have the same structure,
philosophies, teaching modalities or evaluation criteria, and ours has not been designed after any other school or university.
The programs of Covenant School of Ministry and Divinity are not designed to meet any specific local, provincial, territorial,
regional or national licensing or credential laws. The school is duly registered by the government and it is chartered and affiliated with
Covenant Global, Inc., a USA-based church ministry. CSOMD is the training arm of Covenant Global, Inc.. We are non-traditional in
nature and our programs are not designed to meet a particular requirement established by any private association, or “traditional”
licensing or other accrediting organization.
Continuation
Covenant School Of Ministry will continue to shy away from any kind of accreditation that might weaken our ability to properly train
men and women to be effective servants of Christ in their churches and places of ministry service. Few pastors are promoted to bigger
churches simply because of the name of their institutions. Churches want ministers who demonstrate excellence in the performance of
their tasks by virtue of a real educational degree. A degree from Covenant School of Ministry and Divinity will give you the credible
degree that you need, but more importantly, you will engage in studies that will sharpen your God-given gifts and talents to do great
things for the glory of God. Your church and peers will accept your degree when they accept you. Indeed, the degree does not make
the person; the person makes the degree.
The main questions to be asked when considering a school are: ” Is this school pleasing to God?” If it pleases God, then it does not
matter who is displeases. Are the instructors truly men and women of integrity, dignity, and are they anointed by the Holy Spirit and
called in this area of teaching? Are each of them proven in actual ministry, not just possessing educational degrees?” If they have these
qualities, you have discovered a quality school. We ask all of our students to pray about all they do in life. Our school is about honoring
Christ and being His servants. We feel the accreditation of God is on our Covenant School of Ministry and Divinity because if was
birthed by Him and we strive to please Him in all respects. Since our school is right with God then it’s probably right for you.
Why Covenant?
The Hebrew word "Berit" embraces one of the most important theological concepts in the Bible. It is found in over three hundred
times and its is translated “COVENANT” in all but a few cases. The underlying sense of 'berit' is that of oneness. A covenant is a
spiritual union established by a “binding agreement” by a solemn vow; therefore, it is a powerful relationship that never ends. Once a
student enters into this kind of learning he/she enters into a sacred vow unto God not to men. This level of learning never ends and
results in a full life and fulfilled service to God.
We encourage you to prayerfully fill out the free application form for admission as soon as possible so that you may begin today to
prepare for the greater ministry that God has for you!
