Mission Statement

The mission of the Missions and Evangelism degree program at Covenant School of Ministry is to educate and prepare the student to reach
the unreached people group throughout Asia continent, especially Philippines and its neighboring countries.

Vision Statement

The vision of this program is to develop in churches and Christian workers that the remaining task is still huge and that they need to be a
mission-minded church and mission-minded Christian workers.

Our Goals

The goals of the Mission and Evangelism at Covenant School of Ministry (C-SOM) are that the student would:

1) Receive practical knowledge of mission strategies.

2) Understand the Biblical foundation of mission and evangelism and to be able to apply these understanding
    in their mission fields.

3) Equip the student with a comprehensive theological and missiological education with an emphasis on the
    missionary task.

4) Instill in students vision and passion for reaching the lost.   

5) Expose students to various missionary activities.

Core Values

    We value the necessity for practical experience coupled with strong theological background

    We value the need for mission and evangelizing model to be reproducible.

    We value the call of God and His gifting that enable a person to be successful missionary and evangelist.

    We value the biblical mandate to “go and make disciple”

Curriculum

The Curriculum of Missions and Evangelism is composed of biblical, theological, and practical aspects, designed to prepare the student for
effective missionary works and evangelism. The program seeks to create a balance between quality classroom learning and implementing the
information on a practical level within the context of actually doing missions and evangelism during the student’s finishing course at          C-
SOM.
